This page explains Amworth's role and the responsibilities that remain with third-party finance providers.
Our role
Amworth Business Lending acts as a commercial finance introducer. We may introduce businesses to third-party finance providers or intermediaries that may be able to consider their requirements. Amworth Business Lending does not lend money, make credit decisions, or provide legal, tax or accounting advice. All applications are assessed independently by the relevant provider. Finance is subject to status, eligibility, provider criteria and approval. Rates, terms, fees and security requirements may vary. Applicants remain free to decide whether to proceed with an introduction or offer.
Who we work with
Our introduction service is available to UK-registered limited companies seeking finance wholly for business purposes. We do not accept enquiries from consumers, and we do not provide finance for personal or household use.
The introduction process
- A UK limited company submits an enquiry.
- Amworth Business Lending reviews the stated commercial finance requirements.
- Where appropriate, Amworth Business Lending introduces the company to one or more commercial finance providers.
- The lender independently assesses eligibility, terms, pricing, and approval.
- The applicant decides whether to proceed with any offer.
What the finance provider is responsible for
- Assessing eligibility, creditworthiness and affordability.
- Setting rates, fees, terms, security and any personal guarantee requirements.
- Carrying out identity, anti-money-laundering and fraud checks.
- Issuing all pre-contract information, documentation and the finance agreement.
- Making the final decision on whether to offer finance, and on what basis.
- Administering the facility and handling any product-related complaint.
No guarantee of finance
Submitting an enquiry, or being introduced to a provider, does not guarantee that finance will be offered. We do not guarantee approval, availability, rates, terms, timescales or completion, and nothing on this website constitutes an offer, quotation, recommendation or advice.
Commission
Amworth Business Lending may receive a commission from a finance provider following a successful introduction. Further information about the nature of any commission is available on request.
