About Amworth

A more personal route to business finance.

Amworth was founded on a simple observation: most business owners approach the lender they already bank with, and accept whatever answer comes back. We exist to widen that conversation — an independent introducer, not a lender, working across banks, challenger banks and specialist providers so that the funding fits the plan behind it.

One senior point of contact from first conversation to completion. No upfront fees, and no obligation to proceed with anything we present.

How we work

One conversation, considered against several provider types.

We work with a network of banks, challenger banks and specialist lending institutions to connect businesses with finance suited to their circumstances and ambitions.

Whether you require working capital to improve cash flow, funding to purchase equipment, finance for commercial property, or capital to support expansion, our role is to make the journey clearer and more manageable.

Unlike approaching a single lender, working with a finance introducer can provide access to multiple potential funding routes. We take the time to understand your business, objectives and financial requirements before identifying providers whose criteria may align with your needs.

From the first conversation through to completion, we help coordinate the process, support the collection of documentation, liaise with providers and keep you informed.

Our mission

To make business funding more straightforward, accessible and relevant.

We combine lender access with professional and personalised support, so businesses can focus on the plan behind the funding rather than the process of arranging it.

About our service

Commercial Finance Introductions for UK Businesses

UK businesses explore external finance for a wide range of reasons. Some need to manage short-term cash flow gaps while awaiting payment from customers. Others require capital to purchase equipment, invest in commercial property, fund a construction project or support a planned expansion. The circumstances vary, and so do the finance structures that may be available.

Different providers serve different types of requirement. A high-street bank, a challenger lender and a specialist finance house may each assess the same application differently based on their own risk appetite, sector preferences and lending criteria. For business owners, navigating these differences can be time-consuming and complex.

Amworth Business Lending acts as a commercial finance introducer. We take time to understand the business, the funding requirement and the intended use of funds. Where appropriate, we identify third-party finance providers that may be able to consider the request and, with the business owner's agreement, make a professional introduction.

All lending decisions are made independently by the finance provider. Amworth does not lend money, approve applications or guarantee that finance will be offered. Rates, terms, fees and security requirements are determined by the provider. Businesses remain free to decide whether to proceed with an introduction or any offer they receive.

How it works

Our introduction process

  1. Step 1

A UK limited company submits an enquiry.

  2. Step 2

Amworth Business Lending reviews the stated commercial finance requirements.

  3. Step 3

Where appropriate, Amworth Business Lending introduces the company to one or more commercial finance providers.

  4. Step 4

The lender independently assesses eligibility, terms, pricing, and approval.

  5. Step 5

The applicant decides whether to proceed with any offer.

Amworth Business Lending is a commercial finance introducer, not a lender. We do not make lending decisions. Finance is subject to lender assessment, eligibility, terms, and approval.

The team

Who you will speak with

You will deal with experienced commercial finance professionals who work with UK business owners every day — people who understand trading cycles, seasonality and how lenders actually read a set of accounts.

One named adviser stays with your enquiry from the first conversation through to introduction, so nothing is repeated and nothing is lost between hands. We prepare the picture properly before it reaches a provider, and we tell you plainly when a route is unlikely to work.
